We are sad to announce that Shane S. King, 58, of New Hope, Pa., passed away on Dec. 16, 2022, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Shane was preceded by his father, Robert A. King and grandparents, Esther Traski, Howard Vliet, Eloise King, and Allen King and is survived by his mother, Esther J. King, and brother, Tim King.
Shane graduated from New Hope-Solebury High School, where he was regarded by his classmates as friendly, kind and soft spoken. He later worked as an arborist for many years and then at Hunterdon Medical Center as an operating room technician. Shane loved music, nature, reading, cooking, growing different varieties of hot peppers, and birds and animals, especially his Russian blue cat he called “Boy.”
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at 10 a.m. at John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912, funeral service 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Stockton, N.J.
