Santa joins Woods Services community at tree-lighting event

Posted

Woods Services’ Santa Arrival and Tree-Lighting event took place Dec. 1 in Langhorne.
The ceremony began with Santa arriving on a flatbed truck, and the lighting of the Woods Christmas tree, donated by Kent’s Tree Service in Levittown. Following the tree lighting, Santa and his elves delivered a gift to each resident, thanks to a gift campaign held by PetSmart in Newtown where community members could purchase and donate plush animals.

Santa will return on Christmas Eve to deliver more than 1,100 gifts from the residents’ wish lists, which were donated by Secret Santas in the community.
During the event, state Rep. Frank Farry of District 142 presented Woods with a proclamation for being named the Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit of the Year.
