We lived in Uhlerstown in the ‘70s and ‘80s and were members of Friends of the Delaware Canal.
Last month, we took some friends there to show off our wonderful background. We were shocked to see what terrible condition the canal is in, totally overgrown with weeds. This canal played an important role in Pennsylvania’s history, and the state should be maintaining it appropriately.
