The Doylestown Rugby men’s team traveled to Phoenixville Whitehorse for a match on Saturday, Oct. 22.
This was the first time the two teams had played against each other in nearly four years. The back-and-forth match ended with Phoenixville securing the win, 33-26.
Try scorers for Doylestown were Brian Stella (two), Aaron Green (one) and Mathew Frederick (one). Jeremy Ault successfully scored three conversions.
The Dragons will face Old Gaelic for the last match of the fall season at home on Saturday, Oct. 29. The home pitch is located at the Maennerchor Field, 3650 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
