Ronald R. Both (Ron) of New Hope, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 62.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ulrich and Ella Both of Warrington, Pa. Ron grew up in Cheltenham, Pa., where he graduated from Cheltenham High and then received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Spring Garden College in 1982. A devoted son and father, he worked with his family in many real estate projects in Bucks, Lehigh and Philadelphia County as well as Cape May County, N.J. One of his local projects was establishing the first Mediterranean eatery in Lambertville; The Wild Nile. He also aided in his family estate to become the VIA Designer House of Bucks County of 2020.

Surviving with his wife, Donna Peiffer-Both, are two daughters, Marissa Both of Philadelphia, Elizabeth Both of New Hope, and his stepson, Luke J. Peiffer of Levittown, Pa.

A jack of all trades, he was an innovative thinker, builder, designer, salesman, entrepreneur and above all, as he reminded anyone and everyone he was “an engineer.” His creative ideas were often a catalyst and inspiration to others.

Friends and relatives may greet the family on Monday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 50 York St., Lambertville, N.J. A memorial service will follow.

Condolences may be submitted online at www.wetzelandson.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Penn Medicine at www.giving.apps.upenn.edu or to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, www.nami.org.
