River Towns Chamber office goes virtual

Posted
The Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce is moving to a virtual office, offering more flexibility to better serve members for now, said Cindy Kunnas, executive director.

“We’re still open and operating, and I’m still going to be around town and going around to businesses,” Kunnas said.

The new address is P.O. Box 210, Lambertville, N.J., 08530, and the phone number remains 609-397-0055.

Kunnas said she would continue to work for chamber members. “People will still see me. I will still be going into town,” she said. “It just gives me a little more flexibility.”

Kunnas said the chamber office at 77 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J., which also serves as a visitor center, does not get much foot traffic during the week. On the weekends, it is manned by artists who rent space there.

“We will eventually look for space again, hopefully something big enough for board meetings, as well as a place where small-business owners can host meetings and get their mail, something that can do more than just host me,” Kunnas said.

She encouraged chamber members to renew their memberships, allowing the organization – which does not receive any government funds – to spend more on marketing to benefit the business community.
