Revolutionary Run returns to Washington Crossing Park

Posted

The Upper Makefield Business Association announces the return of the Revolutionary Run (“Rev Run”), held on the morning of July 4th in Washington Crossing Historic Park, Washington Crossing, PA.

The crowd-favorite fundraising event draws generations of families, bringing over 2,000 people. The Rev Run has something for everyone – families, walkers, occasional and serious runners. Participants can take part in the 1-mile fun run, 5k or 10k certified races. All of the profits from the Rev Run go to the Upper Makefield Emergency Fund, UMBA Scholarships, UMBA Sunshine Fund, the Upper Makefield Fire Department and the Washington Crossing Historic Park.

It’s a truly unique and fun event as people come from all over the region and the country, often dressing in their most patriotic running attire. Celebrate the 4th of July following in the footsteps of George Washington and his troops, while helping raising money for worthy beneficiaries.

Online registration is now open for the 1-mile fun run ($25), the 5k and 10k certified races ($40) and includes a free commemorative t-shirt. While same-day registrations are allowed, runners are encouraged to register online to take advantage of preferential pricing and to guarantee receiving a t-shirt.

Event start times will be staggered: 10k, 8:30 a.m.; 5k, 8:15 a.m., and 1-mile fun run, 8 a.m. Registration and check-in tables will open at 6:30 a.m.
