First Baptist Church of Perkasie recently opened a stand-alone community center, Revivals, to minister to the community by offering a soup kitchen, counseling center, food pantry, and much more.
The Revivals Block Party Trailer is making stops throughout Bucks County this summer, hosting a “neighborhood experience for the community to come together, have fun, and spread God’s love.”
Each block party will be complete with food, games, inflatables, face painting, a special presentation, giveaways and more.
The first block party was held June 8 in Lenape Park, Perkasie.
Future events are scheduled for the following dates, times and locations: 10 a.m. to noon June 22 at Holiday House Recreation Center, Perkasie; noon to 6 p.m. July 7 at Pennridge Community Day; 9 a.m. to noon July 20 at Perkasie Farmer’s Market; 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 3 at Kulp Park; 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 16 at Sellersville Heights; and 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at Menlo Park.
