Resurfacing scheduled on state highways in Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware counties

Paving with closure is scheduled on Red Hill Road

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing is scheduled on several state highways next week in Philadelphia, Bucks, and Delaware counties under several projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.

The work schedules and locations are:

Bucks County

  • Tuesday, Oct. 18, through Friday, Oct. 21, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., a road closure is scheduled on Red Hill Road between East Dark Hollow Road and Hollow Horn Road in Tinicum Township for paving. During the closure motorists will be directed to use East Dark Hollow Road, Brick Church Road, and Hollow Horn Road
  • Monday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., a road closure is scheduled on Red Hill Road between Hollow Horn Road and Headquarters Road in Tinicum Township for paving. During the closure motorists will be directed to use Hollow Horn Road, Oak Grove Road, Durham Road, and Headquarters Road

Philadelphia

  • Monday, Oct. 17, though Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, lane closures are scheduled on Market Street between 22nd Street and 15th Street for paving
  • Monday, Oct. 17, through Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, lane closures are scheduled on 15th Street between Vine Street and JFK Boulevard for prepping and paving
