Bristol Township Police are reportedly investigating a threat made against District Judge Kevin P. Wagner.
The courthouse where Wagner sits was evacuated Tuesday, following a bomb threat, according to published reports. Yesterday, a woman reportedly told authorities a man was headed to the courthouse with a gun and was targeting the judge.
In an email Friday afternoon, District Court Administrator Stephen D. Watson wrote, “The Court was made aware yesterday afternoon of a potential threat against District Court 07-1-03 in Bristol. Local and County law enforcement were immediately informed and are investigating the matter. In an abundance of caution, the Court office was closed yesterday afternoon and will remain closed through Friday, June 2.

“The Court thanks law enforcement and court staff for their prompt action, and the public for their understanding of the necessary closure.”
Calls to the court are answered by the following recording: “Due to unforeseen circumstances District Court 7-1-03 will be closed Friday June 2nd, 2023 and reopening on Monday, June 5th, 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
A spokesman for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and a spokeswoman from the FBI’s Philadelphia office both deferred to Bristol Township Police Department when asked for comment. A call to Bristol Township Police Department Friday was not immediately returned.
