Realtors in Bucks County keep health care workers fueled

Posted

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to stress our healthcare system the Bucks County Association of Realtors has delivered 150 meals to ER departments around the county. This was a way for the Realtors in the community to support local restaurants and thank front-line health care workers at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown, St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne and Doylestown Hospital.

Jessica Finnell and Susan Langenstein, the co-chairs of the Bucks County Association of Realtors Reach Out Committee, brainstormed and came up with this idea.

“This was the perfect opportunity to support our frontline workers and support local restaurants in our communities,” Finnell said. “This one event will essentially help two groups of professionals in our community.”

The funding for the meals was made possible by a Century of Service grant from the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. PAR’s Century of Service grants allow local Realtor organizations to help make a difference in their communities during the state association’s 100th anniversary.

The Bucks County Association of Realtors sincerely thanks the frontline workers in our community for their hard work and dedication.
