Racing in the rain: Bucks County Classic held in Doylestown

The 18th edition of the Bucks County Classic made a splash in Doylestown last weekend.
Held on a rainy Sept. 11, the cycling event featured multiple race fields for USA Cycling licensed racers including a Masters race, Amateur Women, Eagle Power Turf and Tractor Amateur Men, Doylestown Health Pro Women and Thompson Pro Men.
Scott McGill of Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling won the Thompson Pro Men 1/2; Danny Summerhill of Best Buddies Racing finished second and Ethan Craine of Project Echelon Racing claimed third place.
In the Doylestown Health Pro Women 1/2, Katia Martinez of CWA Racing p/b Goldman Sachs ETFs crossed the finish line first, followed by Samantha Schneider of L39ION of Los Angeles in second and Daniely Garcia of CWA Racing p/b Goldman Sachs ETFs in third.

Ethan Ingersoll of NYCC Racing p/b Magen Financial was the Eagle Power Turf & Tractor Cat 3-4 winner; finishing in second and third, respectively, were Alec Smith of Keystone Racing p/b Lupine Lights and Frank Tiburzi of META.CC.
Kelly Roberson of Beanie Babiezz triumphed in the Women Cat 3-4; Annabell Malloy of CRCA/Automatic Lonely Hearts Racing claimed second and Tara Seplavy of CRCA KruisCX captured third place.
Eric Moon of Kelly Benefits Strategies Cycling Team captured the Master Men 45+; Justin Kirk of Texas Roadhouse Cycling p/b Athletic Brewing finished second and Rick Dalton of Ide Family of Dealerships p/b RV&E Bike and Skate won third place.
