Pollinator Party Single Day Camp

Posted

Searching for something educational, fun, and filled with hands-on discovery to fill your child’s time during the summer, but are looking for just a single day instead of a whole week of camp? Bring them along to The Art of Ecology’s Pollinator Party Day Camp on July 11th (9am-3pm) at Pie Bird Farm in Ottsville!
go crazy exploring the area for beautiful butterflies, wiggly caterpillars, busy bees, lumbering beetles and more. We’ll discover pollinator identification, insect metamorphosis, and the importance of pollinators for the ecosystem and for our own food! Campers will discover pollinators through hands-on scientific observations, eco-games, hikes, and unique pollinator art projects that are designed to engage their curiosity, creative minds, and protect pollinator populations!
Open to ages 6-10. Space is limited to only 16 campers each day, so early registration is advised. Upon registering, you will be required to fill out a camper information form asking for allergy & emergency contact info. The day will be spent outdoors as much as possible, so have your child dress accordingly (boots, jackets, change of clothes, etc…)!
