Falls

Shooting: that occurred between 2 and 3 a.m. Dec. 26, in the parking lot at Pennsbury Raquet Club, 375 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, is under investigation. Two people were involved and a third person in a black SUV may also have been involved. Newtown Township

Fatal: auto-pedestrian crash, which occurred in the 200 block of North Sycamore Street at approximately 11:04 p.m. Dec. 22, is under investigation. A male was struck while attempting to cross North Sycamore Street to catch an Uber with friends, after it arrived on the northbound side of the street. The striking vehicle was also traveling northbound on North Sycamore Street when the impact occurred. The vehicle and operator remained on scene. The road was closed for several hours in both directions from Silo Drive to Durham Road.

Perkasie

Charged: Carson Kauffman, with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor/other vehicle, after police were called for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Pierce Library at 10:15 a.m. Dec. 20. The vehicle was found to have been reported as stolen out of Allentown. Kauffman was arraigned by District Judge Regina Armitage and transported to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
