Pipe installation scheduled on Old Lincoln Highway

Posted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said drainage pipe installation is planned at night next week on Old Lincoln Highway (Business U.S. 1) in Middletown Township under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, periodic flagger-controlled lane closures with intermittent 15-minute stoppages are planned in both directions on Old Lincoln Highway (Business U.S. 1) between Harris Avenue and the U.S. 1 overpass.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
