Perkasie Borough was host to its 110th tree lighting ceremony Saturday, Dec. 7.
Perkasie’s ceremony, which began in 1909, was officially recognized as the oldest in the U.S. in 2015.
The event included Perkasie Mayor John Hollenbach’s annual reading of “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” holiday music and arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus a Perkasie Electric Truck to light the Christmas tree.
