Posted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said PECO Energy will perform utility construction on three state highways in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Bucks County – Monday, Dec. 11, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between River Road and Circle View Drive in Solebury Township.

Montgomery County – Monday, Dec. 11, through Friday, Dec. 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 between Hopwood Road and Park Avenue in Upper Providence Township and Collegeville Borough.

Philadelphia – Monday, Dec. 11, through Friday, Jan. 19, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Germantown Avenue between Route 611 (Broad Street) and Erie Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
