PECO Utility Improvements scheduled in Bucks, Chester counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on Route 202 (Wilmington Pike) in Westtown Township, Chester County, and on Route 132 (Street Road) in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

•Monday, July 10, through Friday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) at the intersection with Route 926 (Street Road); and

• Tuesday, July 11, through Friday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 132 (Street Road) in both directions between Stump Road and Buck Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
