The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Monday that PECO Energy will be performing overhead aerial construction on Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in New Britain Township, Bucks County, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Tuesday, Nov. 15, through Friday, Dec. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route309 (Bethlehem Pike) between Trewigtown Road and Hilltown Pike.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
