PARVEE Foundation announces $66K grant

Posted

Pine Run Retirement Community resident-supported PARVEE Foundation is pleased to announce that the PARVEE board has awarded a block grant of $66,000 to the Pine Run Retirement Community to help defray the cost of care for former Villagers residing at Pine Run’s Lakeview assisted living campus and in memory care in the Pine Run Health Center. The grant is not resident-specific but an allocation to the Pine Run Retirement Community to help meet the overall budget for care at these two locations.

“Our plan and ability to make these grants are subject to annual review,” said PARVEE President Steve Hirt, “and will depend on the annual support of Villagers and the return earned on the foundation’s investments.”

The PARVEE Foundation was incorporated in 1979 by five Pine Run Villagers as an independent, charitable, nonprofit corporation to assist eligible Villagers whose personal funds run out.
