A celebration of Gen. George Washington’s 291st birthday took place at Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County on Feb. 19.
The event featured Colonial demonstrations and children’s activities. Park visitors also sang “Happy Birthday” to the nation’s first president, portrayed by John Godzieba, who used a sword to cut his cake, donated by The Caketeria in Newtown.
