Old Barracks to host “Four Centuries of African American Soldiers”

Old Barracks Museum, 101 Barracks St., Trenton, N.J., hosts the “Four Centuries of African American Soldiers” Feb. 25 and 26.

The vivid living history program tells the heroic stories of America’s Black warriors spanning 400 years until today. The program includes authentic military artifacts, reenactors, and military veterans sharing their own personal stories.

This program pays tribute to the contributions of African American Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen to the military history of the United States.

The “Four Centuries of African American Soldiers” event will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26. Admission is free. Information can be found at barracks.org or 609-396-1776.
