Oktoberfest returns to Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company

Posted

Prost. The annual Oktoberfest celebration returns to Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company (Neshaminy Creek) noon-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, featuring a new beer release plus returning entertainment favorites, family-friendly festivities, food, and music.

Kicking off the entertainment is Polkadelphia, as they take the stage to present an eclectic combination of traditional German melodies with modern hits from 1-4 p.m.. Activities include a Wiener Toss, Stein Hoisting Competition, and Yodeling Contest, all paired with soft pretzels, brats, and other tasty treats from local food trucks including Lobster Rolls & More. Limited edition Oktoberfest shirts and steins will also be available for purchase.

Making its debut at this year’s Oktoberfest at the Croydon taproom, Sweet Hell is a Smoked Helles Lager brewed with 100% Beechwood Smoked Malt, 100% Tettnanger hops, and 100% hellfire. Following the event, it will be available at all three taprooms with limited distribution in Pennsylvania. Also at Oktoberfest, returning autumnal favorites include Creekfestbier Lager, Churchville Lager, Punkless Dunkel, Young Pumpkinstein, and JAWN of the Dead Red Rye IPA will be available on tap and in cans. Mainstays like Warehouse Lager and Post Up Pils will also be available at the event among the complete lineup of Creek classics.
