NOVA to upgrade security system with $10K grant

Posted

NOVA recently received a $10,000-grant from Foundations Community Partnership to be used to support upgrades to the security system at the organization’s Jamison office.

The nonprofit serves some of the most vulnerable citizens of Bucks County, and the upgraded security system will help keep them safe while NOVA is providing its services.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to support this important infrastructure project,” said Abigail Halloran, who chairs the Foundations Community Partnership Board of Directors. “We are also proud to have provided more than $185,000 in grant funding since 2008 to support NOVA’s crucial work of ending patterns of violence in our communities.”

Angela M. McGettigan, director of Operations and Engagement at NOVA said the nonprofit is “honored” to have been selected.

“Providing services to victims and survivors of sexual assault and other crimes in NOVA’s offices depends on a safe and secure environment for both our clients and our staff,” she added.
