North Wales Water Authority closes Ferry Road in New Britain Township

Posted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said North Wales Water Authority is performing a water facility installation on Ferry Road in New Britain Township, beginning this week.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction: through Friday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday closure is scheduled on Ferry Road between Park Avenue and Route 313 (Swamp Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 313 (Swamp Road), Route 611, Butler Avenue/State Street, and Route 152 (Main Street).

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

North Wales Water Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
