Norman’s Hallmark opens at Cross Keys Place

Posted

Norman’s Hallmark, an employee-owned company and the nation’s largest independent owner of Gold Crown Hallmark stores, is now open at Cross Keys Place in Doylestown. The Giant supermarket-anchored shopping center is located at 4349 Swamp Road in Plumstead Township.

The new Norman’s Hallmark at Cross Keys Place fills a void that was left in the community when Michelle’s Hallmark closed last year at Doylestown Shopping Center following that business owner’s retirement, according to Howard Henschel, Norman’s president and chief executive officer.

“Local residents have long appreciated the presence of a Hallmark store in Doylestown,” said Henschel. “News that Norman’s was opening here has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response, and we are excited to bring one of our full-format stores to the community. Norman’s Hallmark is looking to add to its growing team at this store location. For information on current job opportunities, visit normanshallmark.com/pages/career-opportunities.

Norman’s offers a complete line of Hallmark products, cards for every occasion and Keepsake Ornaments, along with a diverse merchandise selection for gift giving and the home that includes fashion apparel and accessories, books, stationery, games, home décor, specialty candy and gourmet foods. The company maintains thriving supplier partnerships with household-name brands like Squishmallows, Vera Bradley, Yankee Candle, Life is Good, Scout Bags, Willow Tree, Mud Pie, David Bradley Chocolatier, Stonewall Kitchen, and Godiva, among many others.

Norman’s Hallmark currently operates more than 70 locations. With roots dating back over 80 years, Norman’s Hallmark has grown from a single retail store in Trenton, N.J. The Newtown-based company continues to grow its brick-and-mortar footprint throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in recent years expanded into Delaware and northern Maryland; it also maintains a strong e-commerce presence.
