Newtown Presbyterian hosts chili luncheon, quilt raffle

Join Newtown Presbyterian Church, 25 N. Chancellor St., Newtown, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4, for chili (meat or vegetarian), cornbread, salad, dessert and a beverage.
The Chili Luncheon is an important fundraiser; ticket sale proceeds are vitally important for the maintenance and beautification of the Historic Presbyterian Church on Sycamore Street, which was built in 1769. This church is used during the summer for Sunday worship and for special occasions.
For safety precautions, all food offered for in house dining will be individually packaged, and disposable containers and utensils will be utilized.

Additionally, the Eternal Quilters Group will raffle off a handmade quilt in the Log Cabin pattern.
Tickets are available at the door, and take-out is available. The cost is $12 for adults; $5 for children under 12 and free for ages 3 and under.
