Newtown Presbyterian Church serves its Holiday Chili Luncheon fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
On the menu will be chili (meat or vegetarian), cornbread, salad, dessert and beverage. Tickets, available at the door, at 25 N. Chancellor St., Newtown, are $14 for adults, $5 for under 12, and free for 3 and under. Take-out orders will be available.
Ticket sale proceeds are vitally important for the maintenance and beautification of the Historic Presbyterian Church on Sycamore Street, which was built in 1769. This church is used during the summer for Sunday worship and for special occasions.
For safety precautions all food offered for in-house dining will be individually packaged, and disposable containers and utensils will be utilized.
Additionally, the Eternal Quilters Group will raffle off a handmade quilt in The Star Quilt pattern.
