Newtown Historic presents “Favorite Things” from local collection

Posted

The March meeting of the Newtown Historic Association will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the Half Moon Inn, 105 Court St., Newtown.

Local collector Kevin Kerchner will once again share examples from his extensive collection of antiques, focusing on his favorite things. Those who have attended his previous talks are well-acquainted with the quality, uniqueness and craftsmanship of the items in his collection.

Kerchner’s collection spans the 17th and 18th centuries and contains a wide range of examples from the everyday life of the people living at the time. As Kerchner has done in past talks, he will also show some interesting “what is it?” items to challenge the audience.

This event is free and open to the public.
