The Newtown Historic Association hosts its annual Garden Walk on Saturday, June 18.
Meet in the rear garden of the NHA headquarters, Half-moon Inn, 105 Court St., Newtown. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The walk will commence at 9 a.m. and wend through the streets of Newtown Borough and into parts of Newtown Township nearby.
There are nine garden stops on the 2.5 mile walk which ends back at the Inn and two additional gardens to drive to in Newtown Township. The event is expected to last approximately two-to-three hours.
A $10 donation is requested and will go toward maintenance and improvements to Boone Garden, which is owned by NHA, and located on Court Street directly across from the Half-moon Inn. It will be featured on the Garden Walk.
