Nancy Lee Hynds, 84, of Warminster, Pa., formerly of Lambertville, N.J., died on Dec. 27, 2022, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa.

Born in Stockton, N.J., Nancy lived most of her life in Lambertville, before moving to Warminster 20 years ago. A registered nurse, Nancy completed her nursing training at St. Francis Hospital’s School of Nursing in Trenton. She served as the school nurse for the South Hunterdon Regional High School and later worked for over 20 years on the nursing staff at Buckingham Valley Care Center. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Nancy enjoyed her crocheting and crocheted blankets for relatives and friends and donated many blankets to charitable causes.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Leon and Hazel Rose Brady. She is survived by her children Deborah L. Hynds and her husband Glenn Koennecke of New Canaan, Conn., Mark Hynds and his husband Andrew Tuano of Cape May, N.J., and Melissa Irvin and her husband Steve of Perkasie, Pa.; her grandchildren Christopher, Elizabeth, Catherine, Sandra, Connor, Ian, Steven, Emily and Isabella; her brother Terrance Brady of Evans, Ga., and her niece and her husband Joy and Aaron Clements of Evans, Ga.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023 at noon at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville, NJ 08530. Rev. David Errickson officiating.

There will be calling hours at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11 a.m. until the start of services.

Interment will follow at Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy Hynds to the Doylestown Health Foundation, Doylestown Hospital, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
