Michael G. Novak Sr., of New Hope, Pa., died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, with his loving family by his side.
Michael was the beloved husband of Gail Birdsall Novak. The couple shared 57 years of marriage, memories, family, friendship and love.
Michael attended Stamford High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University. He worked for Colgate-Palmolive Company and Time Life before operating his restaurant businesses, including the full restoration of the historic Brick Hotel in Newtown, Pa. A parishioner of St. Andrew Church, Newtown, he also was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
Son of the late George and Anna Zimkus Novak, Michael will be remembered by his children, Michael Jr. (Lynette), Chad (Patricia) and Karen Flint; his grandchildren Kaelen and Asher Novak; and his sister Elizabeth Sanseverino and her family.
A funeral Mass was held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 at St. Andrew Church, 81 Swamp Road in Newtown, PA 18940. His interment took place privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
