Letters to the Herald

Media integrity is gone

Posted

Sadly, I don’t see the Herald helping the election situation by publishing the League of Women Voters information. I will never, never trust their voter guide for anything.

What women are concerned about today is crime and safety and the inflation, which is making it more difficult for many to put food on the table for their family and gas to get them where they need to go. With these concerns, climate change and several other items listed are of low priority.

What I am not seeing in the Herald is anything related to the growing crime issue ... as it worsens in Philadelphia, it’s got to begin bleeding over into Bucks. The shooting in Southampton last week (which you reported in a very minor way on a page most readers won’t look at) I was shocked to learn.

And, I would think it would be valid for the Herald to report on the fentanyl pills dressed up as colored candy pouring across the southern U.S. border.

These are issues and matters, which I see is a vital service of a publication, not stuff that consumes valuable print space simply because of a political agenda.
