Loretta M. Lutz, 86, of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 in her home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1936 in Easton, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Harry and Bernice Bowman Leichliter.
Loretta was a 1954 graduate of Palisades High School where she was a cheerleader. For over 40 years, Loretta worked at Revere General Store as a clerk. She was a member of the Ottsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ottsville. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved cats and birds.
She is survived by her children, Loretta Fair (Richard Mark), Shelly Ravier (Roger) and Ross Lutz; grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, Tyler, Roshelle, Jodi, Amelia and Zeke; 11 great-grandchildren and her brother, Harry Leichliter Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, who died in 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 in Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville, Pa. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
