Lisa Naples Clay Studio hosts celebrated potters at show and sale

Posted

Bucks County native Lisa Naples hosts eight nationally celebrated potters at her annual show and sale.

Naples classroom and studio at 34 Bridge St., Frenchtown, N.J., will be turned into a gallery for the annual show and sale running 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. Come early for best selection.

The classroom community is growing and robust. Because of her love of her new community and dedication to quality education, Naples invited several of her professional peers to send their work from around the country for her once-a-year show and sale. She wanted the community to see the range of individual voices; the talent and creativity that’s possible through this medium of clay. Naples’ work will also be available.

Naples is an internationally recognized, award-winning potter. She has studied, taught and meandered with clay for 44 years. She spent the summer of 2005 at the Australian National University having been awarded a premier studio residency by The National Council for the Education of Ceramic Artists. Her vast knowledge and worldwide appreciation of pottery has led numerous schools, universities and art centers around the country to invite her to lecture and teach their students.
