Posted

ACME Screening Room, 25 S. Union St., Lambertville, N.J., presents “Raise Hell: The Life&Times of Molly Ivins,” plus a discussion and lobby reception, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

Join in for a discussion with Richard Aregood, award-winning writer and personal friend of Molly Ivins’, after the movie. A portion of all ticket sales will benefit sponsor “Indivisible Lambertville/New Hope.

The film tells the story of media firebrand Molly Ivins, a political journalist from Texas, best-selling author, and Bill of Rights warrior.

“Molly was six feet of Texas trouble who took on the Good Old Boy corruption wherever she found it. Her razor-sharp wit left both sides of the aisle laughing, and craving ink in her columns. A pioneering woman in a male-dominated field, this is a sharp and heartfelt look at Molly’s incredible life.”
