Lenape Chamber Ensemble is ready to reopen its 47th season of fall concerts in Bucks County for the first time since the pandemic struck in 2019.
The concert at the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church in Upper Black Eddy begins at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, with the program repeated in Doylestown at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at Delaware Valley University’s Life Sciences building auditorium.
The concert will include Mozart’s “Violin Sonata in A Major,” which gives equal emphasis to both violin and piano, performed by violist Cyrus Beroukhim and pianist Marcantonio Barone.
“The String Trio for violin, viola and cello,” a rollicking 1920s-style piece written in 1933 by the French composer Jean Françaix, which highlights the combined talents of violinist Cyrus Beroukhim along with violist Brett Deubner and cellist Alberto Parrini.
