Posted

Michael Bowell, owner and lead garden designer at Chester County-based Create A Scene Inc., will give a lecture titled “Orchids: Cultivating Refined Beauty” on Feb. 10 in Bristol.

Bowell is appearing in partnership with the Garden Club of Bristol Borough and the Grundy Museum.

The free lecture, which begins at noon, will take place in the Grundy Library Snyder Room, 680 Radcliffe St.

A horticulturist “by vocation and avocation,” Bowell has shown at flower and orchid shows up and down the East Coast and his business designs and develops gardens in the Philadelphia area and the Jersey Shore towns of Longport and Margate. He’s also had a hand in Margaret’s Garden, the South Lawn and River Park Terrace Gardens on the grounds of the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Museum.

Though free, preregistration is required to attend the lecture at grundymuseum.ticketleap.com.
