Laurel Hill, comprised of two of America’s most historic garden cemeteries, and Women’s Animal Center – America’s First Animal Shelter have partnered to host Woof, Wag + Walk 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, June 4.

The event is a family-friendly day of recreational enjoyment for pets and parents alike at Laurel Hill East, 3822 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia.

The event, held rain or shine, will offer pet-related history walking tours of Laurel Hill East, where one of Women’s Animal Center’s early founders is laid to rest, and offer fun and interactive activity stations such as build your own pup cups with Salty Paws Rittenhouse, make an enrichment toy for a shelter pet, pet and people caricatures, plus samples of dog treats provided by Saint Rocco’s Treats.

In addition, attendees will be able to meet Women’s Animal Center representatives and learn more about adoptable pets and their full scope of pet services.

All four-legged friends are welcome at this pet-friendly event, but they must be socialized to be around other animals and leashed at all times. Registration fee is $25 per pet.

All proceeds directly benefit Women’s Animal Center, located in Bensalem. For information and to register, visit https://www.womensanimalcenter.org/events/woof-wag-walk-2023.
