For 15 years, Langhorne Council for the Arts (LCA) has awarded scholarships to students in the sixth to 11th grades who have talent and passion in the visual and performing arts and who would benefit from financial assistance for enrichment experiences.
LCA scholarship winners have taken private lessons, attended art and music camps, taken classes at BCCC and the Michener Art Museum, and participated in Summer Stock theater programs. The scholarships are funded by membership dues, donations and attendance at ticketed events.
The 2023 LCA Scholarship application is now posted on www.LanghorneArts.org. Deadline for application is April 1. Scholarships will be awarded on May 3, at the annual General LCA Meeting and Scholarship Awards Soiree. This year, that event will be held at Pennwood Library.
