Lambertville Historical Society celebrates the holidays

Posted

As part of its 11th annual holiday music fundraiser, The Lambertville Historical Society has produced an original, collaborative song and video, “A Lambertville-Style Holiday,” featuring local musicians and neighbors.
Local guitar hero and bard JB Kline wrote the melody, and the many performers wrote their own lyrics. Gary P. Cohen recorded and produced the song and video.

Additionally, the Lambertville Historical Society has assembled a compilation of holiday songs by area artists that is free online to stream or download. As in past years, the album showcases spirit and talent, and a variety of musical styles, including rock, traditional Celtic and Scandinavian music, folk, and country.
To showcase the musicians, there will be three concerts: Dec. 7 at Havana in New Hope, Dec. 15 at The Kalmia Club in Lambertville, N.J., and Dec. 18 at The Elks Lodge in Lambertville. The concerts are open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5. Attendees may arrive and depart at any time.
