Kratz sentenced to life in Solebury killings

Posted

Sean Kratz, convicted last week in the deaths of three of four men on a Solebury farm in 2017, was sentenced Monday in Bucks County to life in prison without parole plus a consecutive 18 to 36 years for the first-degree murder of 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro and the voluntary manslaughter killings of Mark Sturgis, 22, and Thomas Meo, 21.

The District Attorney’s office announced Monday that it would no longer pursue the death penalty. Kratz’s cousin, Cosmo DiNardo, entered a guilty plea last summer and is serving four consecutive life sentences for those killings, and the killing of 19-year-old Jimi Taro Patrick of Newtown Township.
