Posted

Juniper Communities announced that Chief Financial Officer Chuck Hastings, of Doylestown, has been awarded the McKnight’s Pinnacle Award in the Setting the Standard category. This recognition, presented to him March 18, celebrates his exceptional career of exemplary service in the skilled nursing and senior living space.

As the CFO of Juniper Communities for 27 years, Hastings, formerly of Basking Ridge, N.J., has played an integral role in the company’s growth and prominence in the industry, expanding its portfolio from five communities to 28 owned and managed properties in states including Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His focus on the capital markets aspect of long-term care communities has been instrumental in driving Juniper’s financial success.

Lynne Katzmann, CEO and founder of Juniper Communities, commended Hastings, stating, “Keys to Juniper’s financial success are Chuck keeping the company nimble and able to move with market shifts; finding creative paths for profitability; being responsive to investors; and sharing the vision that Juniper is in the senior living space for the long haul and not trying to turn a quick profit.”

Hastings was lauded for his exemplary leadership style characterized by a calm and decisive demeanor, coupled with unwavering optimism and a commitment to long-term success.

He holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History from Princeton University.
