John Blanchard for Tinicum Township Supervisor

Posted

In Tinicum Township’s supervisors race, the Democrat candidate has served on committees and commissions, gaining limited insight into township governance.

On the other hand, Republican candidate John Blanchard has real experience, having served as township supervisor for six years.

While supervisor, Blanchard took several actions to improve safety and quality of life for all township residents. His evaluation of EMS response times resulted in better coordination between fire, police, and EMS, and quicker arrival times.

Blanchard worked to streamline cumbersome red tape and eliminate large escrows for necessary home repairs, such as roof or septic replacement, and addressed 20+ years of neglect to the township building. All accomplished with no increase in township taxes while he was in office.

And Blanchard has always supported land preservation. He was a board member of Ecobucks, an environmental protection group dedicated to maintaining high-quality rural life in Tinicum Township. Almost 40% of Tinicum’s acreage has been actively or passively preserved.

Bring Back Tinicum’s experienced candidate, Republican John Blanchard, in November.
