James F. Rosica

James “Jim” F. Rosica of Doylestown, Pa., passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022 in the Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, Pa. He was 76.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Herman and Rose (Mastronardo) Rosica, Jim resided in Holland, Pa., before moving to Doylestown, Pa., in 1994.
He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Susan (Fink) Rosica; devoted father of Jennifer Heiges, Bryan Rosica and wife Lisa; dear brother of Mike Rosica and wife Ellen, Jeanne Millar and husband Scott; loving grandfather of Matthew, Julia, Brandon, Lauren and Olivia; cherished uncle of Michael, Christopher and Timothy Rosica, Stacey McCormick, Jill Smith and Amy Millar.
Jim graduated from LaSalle College, in Philadelphia, Pa. He was formerly employed with National Fiberstok Corp. and then Alvah Bushnell Company of Germantown, Pa., as a sales manager, retiring in 2019. Jim served in the United States Army during Vietnam and became a captain in the Reserves. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Doylestown.
Jim had many hobbies including golf, tennis and bowling. He had a magnetic personality that was highlighted by a sincere warmth and playful sense of humor. His main goal in life was to make others laugh and feel loved. Jim was a dedicated family man who spent countless hours with his children and grandchildren coaching on the soccer field, cheering in the stands, and applauding in the audience.
Through his actions, Jim taught those around him about kindness and compassion. Jim always did what he knew to be right; never cutting corners and acting as a moral compass with unwavering integrity.

The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 9:00-10:00 am, and will be immediately followed by a funeral mass at 10:00.
Interment with military honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 at 2 p.m.
