IRun4Life’s Kids Only 3K returns to Doylestown

IRun4Life’s Kids Only 3K returns to Doyles town After two years of COVID and virtual trainings, iRun4Life is excited to bring back its annual Kids Only 3K race for all elementary school children in kindergarten through sixth grades on Sunday, May 15 at Doylestown Central Park.

IRun4Life, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help combat childhood obesity through its noncompetitive and inclusive after school running programs for boys and girls. IRun4Life’s goal is to teach young children that exercise is fun and easy. The running programs focus on exercise, healthy nutrition and giving back to the community in the form of good deeds.

IRun4Life believes that if children learn to love exercise at an early age, and realize how fun it is to feel healthy and strong, then they will be more likely to live an active and healthy lifestyle throughout their lives. The iRun4Life Kids Only 3K is the flagship event for all children in the after school running programs and is also open to the public. The race includes a new race route, chip timing, finisher and placement awards, swag bags, music by the Keith & Joey Band, food, games, raffles, community partners and sponsors. The race is set to begin at 9 a.m. Now in its 11th year, the race will bring together children from schools across the area, including Central Bucks, Council Rock, Abington, New Hope-Solebury, Pennsbury elementary schools, among others. Registration is open at iRun4Life.com. It is recommended parents register their kids early to guarantee a race T-shirt. Race day volunteer opportunities are also available through sign up genius link - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4fa8a72ca5ffc34-2022 . For information, contact Judy@iRun4Life.com.
