Hortulus opens spring season in Wrightstown this weekend

Posted

Hortulus farm is set to open the doors to the public on Saturday at 10 a.m. with a weekend-long Spring Grand Opening and Handmade Market event.

Hortulus, a destination farm, garden and nursery that’s been a purveyor of unique plant specimens for the last 30 years, is celebrating its second season opener under the stewardship of The Kontz Family.

The Wrightstown farm will welcome guests to an immersive springtime experience filled with color, flowers, and plants galore, all nestled comfortably inside the property’s heated greenhouse. Visitors can expect a beautiful place to experience, connect with knowledgeable, friendly staff, and shop for plants and garden goods.

Guests will also notice some active construction at the rear of the Greenhouse, which is the future homesite of the Hortulus Botanical Playground which will display the artistically curated gardens that Hortulus has long been known for while also existing as a safe place for children to play, explore, and let their imaginations grow.

Admission is free at the farm, located at 60 Thompson Mill Road in Wrightstown.
