January is membership month at the historic Newtown Theatre, which recently reopened after a four-month renovation.
It is the month for current members to renew and new members to join.
Memberships are available for individuals, senior individuals, couples, senior couples, and families.
Members receive the following benefits: Discounts on concerts and other special events; $6 admission to most movies; free popcorn at comedy shows and Newtown Arts Company shows; 10% discount on theater rentals; free admission to several members-only movie nights throughout the year; and an invitation to a free end-of-the year appreciation party and movie.
Membership information is available at TheNewtownTheatre.com/members. All memberships are valid from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, and must be purchased online.
The Newtown Theatre is home to concerts, comedy shows, live productions, movies, and other special events.
