Historic Flemington Borough kicks off Stangl Arts and Cultural District; hosts tree lighting

DIY Flemington on Stangl Road will host the kick-off of the Stangl Arts and Cultural District new open-air gallery at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 with Ribbon Cuttings and Artists’ Receptions.
This event will feel like a party with music, food, and mingling. Ben Weinman, of Dillinger Escape Plan and current guitarist of Suicidal Tendencies, will be donating band related items for a few lucky attendees to take home on opening night.
The evening’s lineup of events includes: Ribbon Cutting and Artist’s Reception for the new Open Air Gallery – 5 p.m.

Open Air Gallery on Stangl; Ribbon Cutting and Artist’s Reception for Kev Von Holt Wall Mural – 5:15 p.m. at Flemington DIY; Opening Reception for “Take Me Home Tonight!” – 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
at Flemington DIY; and Annual Flemington Holiday Tree Lighting – 7 p.m. on Main Street.
