Healing Through the Arts program launches at Arete Gallery

Posted

Arete Gallery, located at 122 S. Main St., New Hope, hosts its three-monthlong program, “Healing Through the Arts.”

The program showcases works, creative classes and health care discussions, and runs through April 30.

“Art is a powerful tool for communication that transcends language barriers, social divides and cultural boundaries,” said Kim I. Plyler, Arete Gallery owner. “Through the arts, people can come together and gain understanding of one another’s points of view. By embracing the power of the arts, we can create a more open, accepting, and understanding world.”

The program, which is supported by a grant from Visit Bucks County, offers artist presentations, art making classes and health care discussions. The first artist event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday Feb. 19, featuring Andrew Galdi.
